I'm a wife, adoptive mom, photographer, writer, Type 1 Diabetic, and follower of Jesus. I loves the mountains, iced coffee, and post dinner dance parties with my kids. We recently got home after spending 15 months in Uganda adopting two beautiful children. Our oldest was also diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in 2015, the same year as me.

I desire to be honest and vulnerable about all that comes with adoption, T1D, and everyday life as I long to love bravely daily. All while drinking the most iced coffee possible.

I joined the Grace & Salt team in November of 2015 after moving to San Diego from Ontario, Canada. I met the Cheneys in the spring of 2014 while they were on a short trip to Uganda and I was working for an NGO in the same area, never imagining the journey of friendship and business we would experience together over the next few years. 

Most days you can find me with a cup of coffee, listening to loud music, throwing in a sarcastic comment here and there.I spends my down time cheering on the Toronto Blue Jays and taking the brunt of Canada jokes.
