Justin and I spent 5 days in Palm Desert for our church’s annual marriage retreat last weekend. The retreat was Fri-Sun but we decided to stay a few extra nights to celebrate my birthday but mostly have some one-on-one quality time together…no work, no emails, no errands, no planning meals, just relaxing and being together….

It feels like just yesterday that we met in the back row of our government class and you made me guess your age and I never would have said 25, especially since I was 20 :) I am so honored to be your wife, to stand by your side, to hold your hand, to snuggle…
