BAKED CAJUN STYLE FRENCH FRIES

Best enjoyed with a beer. These spicy lil things will leave your mouth wanting something cold and fizzy. Or you can ommit the cayenne pepper for regular “seasoned french fries” Either way is delicious and needs a cold beer  ;)

BAKED CAJUN STYLE FRENCH FRIES

INGREDIENTS:
-4 large russet potatoes
-1/2 tsp salt
-1/2 tsp fresh ground black pepper
-1 tsp ground garlic
-1/2 tsp onion powder
-1/2 tsp cayenne
-1 tsp paprika
-1 tsp dried oregano
-olive oil

DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
2. Line baking sheet with parchment paper (DO NOT use foil or your fries will stick)
3. Cut fries to about 1/2 inch thickness or so
4. Spread fries on baking sheet evenly, don’t overcrowd them or they won’t bake evenly/properly
5. Drizzle olive oil over fries.
6. Mix all seasonings together in a small bowl and sprinkle over fries.
7. Bake for 15 minutes. Toss fries around so the other sides can bake and return to the over for about another 15 min. (Fries may need more or less time based on the thickness of your fries. But I like mine a little golden and crispy)

makes about 6 servings
